-FIRENZE (motorway A1 - Exit Impruneta): take the Siena highway (4 lanes), take the exit Poggibonsi Nord, continue on the new variant SR429 in Val d'Elsa, direction Certaldo ; the exit is about 11 km from Certaldo.
- from PISA / LIVORNO: along the S.G.C. (4 lanes) FI-PI-LI (direction Florence), take the Empoli Ovest exit, continue on SR429, towards Certaldo-Poggibonsi-Siena; The exit is about 22 km from Certaldo.
- from SIENA: take the Firenze-Siena (direction Firenze) super-road (4 lanes), take the Poggibonsi Nord exit, continue on the new SR429 Val d'Elsa, direction Certaldo; the exit is about 11 km from Certaldo.

BY TRAIN: Certaldo can easily be reached by train via the Empoli-Siena Ferry Line. From Empoli, you can easily reach both Florence (east side), Pisa and Livorno (west side).
